Specifications include, but are not limited to: Assist in developing and providing project management and event planning services for a 5-day STEAM outreach and education event, EXPERIENCE STEAM: ATE IN ACTION, at the Mall of America. Will provide staff to manage the following: • STEAM Carnival that will be located in the Rotunda and various MOA courts • Competitions located in the North Atrium • Outdoor exhibits and demonstrations located on the North side of MOA • 7 rooms of education classes for students and continuing education classes for teachers • Onsite volunteer management ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management- • Schedule and lead team planning meetings o Create an agenda, lead meeting, and provide notes • Create and maintain a project Timing and Action plan • Review event budget and offer guidance • Determine the number of volunteer positions needed and define job responsibilities • Review graphic design and signage plan, installation, and offer comments • Manage audiovisual company selection, estimates and daily operations • Determine event staffing needs and manage staff • Work onsite as needed
