Specifications include, but are not limited to: The engine must be a Deutz TD2.9 L4 engine (or a MnDOT approved equal) on a skid with the water pump directly mounted to the engine. The engine must be a 4 cylinder, water cooled, Turbo Charged, final Tier 4 compliant, electronically controlled, 75 HP diesel engine. Engine must be able to run at a top speed of 2600 RPM minimum and have a minimum of 900 RPM at idle. The engine on a open skid must not exceed 48 inches in height including the intake piping, 32 inches wide and 49 inches long. These diminutions must include everything except lifting hooks. The engine must include cooling system, Starter, alternator, exhaust after treatment, cooling fan, and a remote control panel. The engine must have a remote control panel that can be wired to operate in the cab of the truck that is pulling the trailer with the engine. The Remote Control Panel at a minimum must include; start/stop switch, engine throttle controls, engine oil pressure read out, engine water temperature readout. The Engine RPM, oil pressure and engine coolant temp must read out on a screen like a LCD screen and show real time information. RPM and Engine stop/start can use push buttons on the control box. The start/stop and RPM must be electronically change able from truck cab, no mechanical cable type systems allowed.
