Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor's duties, not limited to, will be to provide: Assessment of current DOC health services patient record process, IT support and technology and staffing model. This will involve some site visits to various correctional facility locations. Work plan of required changes to DOC health care infra-structure, IT systems, staffing model, training, equipment, and other necessary changes to support the EHR technology. EHR plan must be able to be integrated with DOC's current offender records systems/technology projects. Benefit analysis and cost detail estimates for implementation of EHR technology by 2015. Annual operational cost summary estimate to support an EHR technology environment. Custom business plan which the DOC may use to implement an EHR technology environment by 2015. The scope of this contract does not include the purchase of software or computer equipment. Responders are encouraged to propose additional tasks or activities if they will improve the results of the project. These items should be separated from the required items on the cost proposal. This Informal Solicitation does not obligate the state to award a contract or complete the project, and the state reserves the right to cancel the solicitation if it is considered to be in its best interest
