Transfer of data dictionary to new platform 4.Testing & Tuning a. Test security and user access controls b. System testing in parallel with existing Teradata platform c. Initial database and performance testing and tuning 5.Training on New Tools a. Train about a half-dozen DBA-level staff on system monitoring and administrationtools b. Train about a half-dozen staff on RDBMS maintenance, tuning, and security c. Train about a dozen ETL programmers and DBA-levelstaff on system utilities needed for extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data d. Train about 20-30 power users on new system functionality, features, and capabilities.
