Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) requests proposals for programs to provide parenting and family skills education services to offenders in DOC correctional facilities. The target population for these programs is adult male offenders who are parents and/or have an interest in improving personal skills connected to being a parent and/or being a family member. Program services will take place inside eight DOC correctional facilities between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2017, with options to provide services during the following three fiscal years at the discretion of the State. This Request for Proposal (RFP) may result in multiple contract awards. Respondents must offer services to offenders in one or more of the following DOC correctional facilities: MCF-Faribault, MCF-Lino Lakes, MCF-Oak Park Heights, MCF-Rush City, MCF-St. Cloud, MCF-Stillwater, MCF-Togo and MCF-Willow River. This request for proposal does not obligate the state to award a contract or complete the project, and the state reserves the right to cancel the solicitation if it is considered to be in its best interest. The state also reserves the right to decrease the number of sessions held at any correctional facility, with a corresponding decrease in payment by the state to the vendor, should demand for services change.
