Specifications include, but are not limited to: Snowplowing: 1. Contractor must furnish all snowplowing equipment. 2. Snowplowing will be at the request of the DNR Project Supervisor, John Furr or his representative except when snowfall is 2 inches or greater. 3. Snowplowing shall take place prior to 8:00 a.m. Monday – Friday. 4. When the DNR Project Supervisor or his representative determines snowplowing is not necessary, the DNR will contact the contractor prior to 8:00 p.m. the night before. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to provide the DNR with a telephone number where the contractor can be reached and a message can be left if not answered by the contractor. By the DNR contacting the telephone number provided to cancel plowing for a snowfall, the DNR shall have no obligation to pay for services if plowing is done. 5. Snow will be pushed to areas designated by the DNR Project Supervisor. Salt/Sand: 1. Contractor must furnish all salt/sand and equipment to spread. 2. Salt/sanding will be at the request of the DNR Project Supervisor or his representative. This is a call as needed basis. Other: 1. This contract may not be assigned or subcontracted in whole or in part without the prior written consent of the Department of Natural Resources. 2. The successful bidder must comply with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ Criminal Background Check Policy, that requires a criminal background check on all new hires and volunteers, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 364. Prior to being awarded a contract, the successful contract vendor, including potential employees of the vendor at this site, must complete an Informed Consent Form for Criminal Background Check. Failure to provide this required information would result in bid rejection. All subsequent hires must also complete the Informed Consent Form for Criminal Background Check and be approved prior to starting work.
