The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to mulch all specified standing woody vegetation on up to 327 acres of lowland brush habitats located on 11 sites within 5 separate Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) and 1 State Forest in Marshall and Beltrami Counties in northwest Minnesota. Target vegetation consists primarily of willow, alder, small aspen, and other brush species. Work is preferred to be conducted during winter months when ground conditions are conducive to operate in wetland soils, though this can be modified depending on ground conditions and equipment utilized IF it appears frozen conditions will not develop during the winter season.
