Specifications include, but are not limited to: Labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to: conduct 17.9 miles of hunter walk-in trail clearing and to establish 2.6 miles of new hunter walk-in trail located within the Blackhoof Wildlife Management Area and the Nemadji State Forest, located in Carlton and Pine counties. The 17.9 miles of trail clearing is due to a snow and ice storm from December 2022. This clearing work will involve mulching or moving all tops, brush, trees, and any woody vegetation within designated trail areas up to 12 feet wide and vertically 12 feet in height. The work to establish the 2.6 miles of new trail will consist of clearing a trail through a recently logged timber stand by removing vegetation, rocks, and stumps.
