SCOPE OF WORK: The State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) intends to purchase live adult brood minnows, with the following specifications: 1. Live adult brood Fathead Minnows, up to a total of 540 gallons, medium to large size, divided into at least 3 separate loads of 30 to 175 gallons, between May 16th and June 30th, depending on need and availability. 2. Minnows are to be off-loaded by vendor into New London Hatchery ponds in amounts specified by New London Hatchery staff. 3. Requests will be made to vendor one week prior to expected need. 4. Loads may be inspected and the DNR reserves the right to reject any load if invasive species are found. 5. DNR may reject any load that does not meet specifications or are in a condition where the likelihood of survival is low. 6. A visual inspection will be used to verify the health of the fish in each load. 7. Notification to the DNR delivery contact must be made prior to delivery at the New London Hatchery with an estimated time of arrival.
