1. Contractor must furnish all snow removal equipment and materials such as, but not limited to: pickup truck with snow plow, skid steer snow plow, snow blower, hand shovel, and hand tools. All equipment must be in good condition to avoid excessive down time. All costs of maintenance and operation of equipment are the sole responsibility of the Contractor and must be included with bid prices. The State will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the Contractor. 2. Snow plowing will be at the request of the DNR Project Supervisor or his or her named representative except when snowfall is three inches (3”) or greater in depth during a single snowfall event. a. Contractor is solely responsible to determine when snowfall is 3 inches or greater. b. When snowfall exceeds 3 inches, the Contractor shall remove and clear snow from all facility drive entrances and parking areas specified. c. When snowfall is 3 inches or greater and DNR determines that snow removal will not be necessary, the DNR will contact the Contractor by 8:00 PM the night before.
