If bad or rotten wood decking is discovered, replace along with a layover 1/2" CDX Plywood. • Install 3’ of CertainTeed Winter Guard ice and water shield (or approved equivalent) at all overhangs. • Install CertainTeed Roof Runner (or approved equivalent) synthetic underlayment felt. • Install CertainTeed Swift Start Starter Shingles (or approved equivalent) along all gutter lines and rake edges. • Install CertainTeed Landmark Lifetime Dimensional Shingles (or approved equivalent) per specifications using 1 ¼” roofing nails. • Install CertainTeed Shadow Ridge Hip and Ridge Shingles (or approved equivalent). • Install new roof vents as needed. • Re-use copper step flashing and install new counter flashing. • Clean up all job-related debris - Safety set up around structure, cones and caution tape to secure work area • Install cedar shake shingles. Full 8" coverage to fit stack height look on building. • Remove up to 37' of materials per side of building. • Provide matching caulking. • Painting: pressure wash painted surfaces, siding, soffit, trim, window frames, brick mouldings, wood trim pieces. Scrape and sand as needed. Spot Prime, Sherwin Williams Duration Paint (or approved equivalent). Spray paint, back roll.
