1. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS 1.1 Contractor must be an authorized dealer or reseller(s) for the products defined in this section. 1.2 Package must be the most current advertised production model (unless otherwise specified). 1.3 Contractor is to furnish all standard equipment except when an item is replaced by an optional item over and above the standard equipment. Any non-factory standard equipment ordered by the DNR must be supplied and installed by the Contractor. 1.4 The boat package must meet all applicable codes and standards, must be sized, and adjusted per the manufacturer’s recommendations and must not exceed the manufacturer’s maximum ratings. 1.5 All boats must have a hull identification number and meet flotation per USCG guidelines. 1.6 If concerns arise, or modifications are recommended by the Contractor during the fabrication process, the DNR must be notified in writing immediately. Following notification, the DNR will review, authorize or decline any suggested changes in writing. 1.7 All watercraft packages must be complete, water ready, and fully operational (including pitch/size of props). All fluids (except fuel) need to be filled to manufacturer recommended levels. 1.8 If any fuel remains in the engine and tank, it must be treated as if it is going into long term storage prior to delivery (per owner’s manual). 2. Motor – Quantity 1 3.1 New 2024 or newer model year Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki or Honda 90HP motor. 3.2 Motors must meet 3-star CARB rating. 3.3 Power Trim and Tilt. 3.4 Electric Start with marine grade battery installed. 3.5 Steering must match the boat per manufacturer recommendations. 3.6 One standard aluminum propeller (installed) 3.7 One spare aluminum propeller same dimension as prop above (not installed) 3.8 Engine cutoff switch – 1st Mate system or MOB+ - must include a fob for driver and a passenger.
