Specifications include, but are not limited to: A vendor to provide laundry service, including pickup and delivery, for the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Minnesota Specialty Health System Wadena (MSHS Wadena) located at 240 Shady Lane Drive, Wadena, MN 56482. Pick-up and delivery by the Contract Vendor. The Contract Vendor must furnish the laundry carts. Laundry carts must be in good repair and move easily. Laundry carts must have a lift on them to minimize bending when removing laundry from the laundry carts. All laundry carts must be sanitized prior to returning to the MSHS Wadena; this is mandatory for infection control. Unscheduled deliveries may be required on an as needed basis. Soiled laundry and clean laundry shall be picked up and delivered on third Thursday of the month, between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. When a State Holiday falls on a scheduled delivery day, the schedule will be changed for delivery and pick-up on an alternate day, agreeable to both the MSHS Wadena and the Contract Vendor. State holidays are: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Independence Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day.
