1. Receipt, Transport, and Processing of Compostable Materials. The Contractor shall receive source-separated organic materials delivered by the Department of Administration, Facilities Management Division, hereinafter referred to as State. The organic materials must be received and transported as necessary before being processed. The organic materials cannot be disposed of in a landfill. The Contractor must recycle the organic materials at their location or transport to a State of Minnesota licensed organic materials composting facility for processing at no additional cost to the State. 2. Receiving Hours. The receiving site must be open on all non-holidays, Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 3. Site Location. The receiving site must be within a twenty (20) mile radius of the State Capitol Complex located at 75 Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard, St. Paul, MN 55155. Google Maps will be used to determine distance. 4. Site Capabilities. The receiving site must have the ability to receive up to 1.5 tons of organic materials from the State per day. The site must also be able to accommodate a sixteen (16) yard refuse truck owned by the State, which will be used to haul the organic materials.
