The Department of Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), partnering with the Department of Department of Transportation (DOT), intend to enter into an agreement up to 24 mos. with Sandy Audio Visual, LLC for continued, uninterrupted use of IBM Video Service (Formerly Watson Media, Formerly IBM Cloud Video Streaming Manager; Formerly Enterprise Pro Broadcasting Service - Ustream). IBM Video Service is a cloud-based video streaming platform engineered for seamless integration with MnDOT’s existing audiovisual infrastructure. To ensure optimal system performance, interoperability, and sustained compatibility, procurement of this service must be coordinated with associated hardware and software currently used by DOT. Sandy Audio Visual, LLC retains exclusive ownership, copy rights, trademark of their video streaming platform. The State believes these services are not available through third-party entities deeming this a sole source purchase.
