Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The State of Minnesota, MNIT Services partnering with the Dept. of Human Services (DHS) intends to renew existing agreement with Micromedex LLC. The annual renewal provides software licensing related to DHS’s DrugDex, drug reference database system (SaaS). This contract is for up to a 36 month term. The Minnesota Dept. of Human Services utilizes DrugDex as an evidence‑based drug information system that supports decisions about which medications are covered under Minnesota Health Care Programs. Because Micromedex LLC retains exclusive ownership, copy right and trademark of their proprietary product and is solely responsible for providing the required software licensing, this has been deemed a single source purchase. None of these required products/services can be provided through third party entities.
