2. Scope of Work and Deliverables The primary goal of this project is to document and produce training materials that showcase the most efficient practices to properly clear various interchange and intersection layouts. CR 14-03 laid the groundwork for this project, which will build upon those initial efforts. Investigators will develop videos / animations and associated training materials for four to six new (beyond those addressed in CR 14-03) types of intersections and interchanges (such as a Continuous Green T-Intersection, Restricted Crossing U-Turn and new roundabout types). The new videos / animations should be similar and supplemental in style and content to the ten videos / animations produced as part of CR 14-03. Each video / animation should include: 1. Title for the intersection/interchange layout (with runtime). 2. An animated overhead view of the layout showing truck maneuvers required to clear the interchange/intersection. 3. Supplemental video shots of plow trucks clearing each type of geometry should be included. Clear Roads can help identify existing footage available from media outlets. 4. Narration and appropriate subtitles for each technique.
