The law firm/attorney(s) are required to be knowledgeable in municipal criminal prosecution. Handling the municipal criminal prosecution for the City will require access to online, secured information-management platforms maintained by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the United States Department of Justice. Every attorney and every support-staff person who will be in contact with the data upon these platforms may be required to submit to and successfully complete a background check, which may include fingerprinting. 3 of 7 Firm must be an Axon "Evidence.com" subscriber. Additionally, one or more workstations must be equipped with certain security appliances, security settings and encrypted-access capabilities, the workstation operatingsystem requirements for all of or which evolve over time. It is the sole responsibility of the firm to have and maintain one or more workstations that at all times fulfill and keep fulfilling these criteria. The City will not reimburse the firm for the purchase or maintenance of these workstations with these operating systems. Firm must have the capacity to coordinate and work with Police Department personnel in scheduling and navigating court appearances as they relate to work schedules and other conflicts.
