1. Vendor shall provide the following Garbage containers: Location Quantity Dumpster Size Period Shop Area 1 4 Cubic Yard October 1 – April 30 – Twice a month Shop Area 1 4 Cubic Yard May 1 – September 30th – Once a week Picnic Area 1 1 1/2 Cubic Yard April1 – September 30th – Once a week Campground Area 1 4 Cubic Yard April 1 – October 15th – Twice a week 2. Garbage containers will be fitted with rubber, plastic or metal lids. 3. Containers must meet all state and local safety codes and must be freshly painted or in new condition, free of rust, excessive scratches or dents at the beginning of each contract period and acceptable in appearance to the Park Manager. Containers will be repainted or replaced at the request of the Park Manager. 4. Vendor shall keep containers clean enough to prevent fly and/or odor problems. 5. It is agreed that the Park Manager may request changes in container size and/or location as the need arises. 6. Containers will be delivered / exchanged as needed at no cost to the park. 7. Garbage collection schedule: a) Garbage placed immediately adjacent to containers will be cleaned up and disposed of by vendor. b) Vendor must comply with all existing MN Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) rules and regulations regarding handling and disposal of commercial garbage. c) Vendor must comply with all existing Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) rules and regulations with regard to commercial garbage collection and disposal in a PCA approved landfill. Vendor shall use properly licensed garbage collection vehicles that are covered and leak proof. Disposal of garbage must be at an MPCA approved site only. d) Vehicles picking up and hauling garbage must be properly equipped including garbage hauling area covering and leak proofing. e) Vendor will obey all park rules and regulations and drivers must stop at all stop signs and obey all speed limits. Recycle Service: 1. Vendor shall provide the following Cardboard Recycling container: Location Quantity Dumpster Size Period Shop Area 1 3 Cubic Yard Year Round – Monthly 2. Recycling container must be a different color than garbage containers; it must be fitted with rubber, plastic or metal lid. 3. Recycling placed immediately adjacent to containers will be cleaned up and disposed of by contractor.
