Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Provide Project Management to complete pile load tests at six locations, excavate soil at future pier locations, excavate soil along proposed access roads, stockpile contaminated soils from Minnesota at designated location(s) in Minnesota, stock pile or dispose of contaminated soils from Wisconsin, and construct access roads as shown in Plans, Specifications, and SWPPP that have been developed for this contract. 2) Provide a Project Team to successfully complete the requirements of this Contract. 3) Provide Contractor’s Design and Submittals for pile load tests, access plans, traffic control as required and contaminated waste stockpile and disposal plans for review and comment by the State. 4) Work collaboratively with State’s Office of Environmental Stewardship (per separate Contract) during excavations to ensure compliance with SWPPP Requirements and Environmental regulations. 5) Haul contaminated materials to an approved regulated waste disposal site. 6) Haul the MnDOT Pile Load Test Frame from storage to project site, assemble, disassemble, and transport between each pile load test site, and haul load test frame back to MnDOT storage upon successful completion of pile load tests. 7) Backfill excavations with clean granular fill as shown in the Plans and Special Provisions. 8) Work collaboratively with State District, Bridge Office, Office of Materials & Road Research, and Office of Environmental Stewardship to successfully complete this work. 9) Refer to Plans, Specifications, and SWPPP for more specific requirements.
