The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to: prep the site and supply, deliver, spread and compact 400 Cubic Yards of Class 5 aggregate in 3” lifts at Ash River Public Water Access. • Before delivering and placing material, prep site by grading out washboards, potholes, or any other issues in the project footprint that will negatively affect the final product. • See Map for project footprint highlighted in red. • Deliver 400 cubic yards of Class 5 aggregate to Ash River Public Water Access, spread said aggregate on footprint called out in Map Exhibit A, grade, and pack aggregate in 3” lifts. • Class 5 Aggregate shall be in accordance with MnDOT SPEC 3138 • Aggregate compaction shall be in accordance with MnDOT SPEC 2105.3.F.2, Quality Compaction Requirements. • Perform grading throughout project as needed; final product shall be packed to MnDOT SPEC 2105.3.F.2 Quality Compaction Requirements. • Contractor is responsible for placing “Access Closed” signs during this project work. • Contractor is responsible for placing “Trucks Hauling” signs on highway at least 200 feet before PWA entrance. • Gopher One locate is the responsibility of the contractor. • One year warranty on work. • Keep grader and compaction equipment on-site until final walk-through and project completion.
