To be considered the floating dock system must made of a high-performance UV stabilized low-density polyethylene, be 60 inches wide, provide a minimum of a 2-inch-high safety curbing on the sides, and be of similar design to an EZ Dock system or approved alternate. The Floating dock sections must be connected to shore via hinged ramp or gangway as well as provide for a kayak or canoe launch system at the open water end of the dock. Submitted bids must include delivery, labor, dock components, and hardware needed to complete the Job. All metal components and fasteners must be non-corrosive, such as aluminum, galvanized steel or stainless steel.
