Project Overview This contract will develop and deliver traffic training programs in the areas of traffic signs, signals, lighting, pavement markings, traffic control device and traffic safety to state, county, city and consultant personnel. Multiple training sessions will be provided over the course of five years. Training will be delivered in a classroom setting for 24-60 participants per class session and will provide all course materials to the participants. Project Goal A fully implemented training program in the area of traffic technical specifications consisting of the following courses: 1. Signal 101 2. Traffic Signal Design 3. Traffic Signal Optimization and Timing 4. Signal and Lighting Certification 5. Signs 101 6. Sign Plan Design 7. Guide Sign Design 8. Pavement Markings Design and Application
