Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Gathering all base data and design development information that shall ultimately be necessary for plans, submittals and permit applications required for LARA, DEQ, USACE, DTMB, county health department, etc. Review veracity of data and information obtained sufficiently to confirm adequacy for design development and use. • Phase 400 services shall include complete identification and evaluation of the existing water supply and wastewater system and its adequacy and/or limitations as identified from data and information gathering, and providing a written recommendation of what baseline system replacement should consist of based on current needs, including a cost estimate and estimated life cycle. Options for system upgrades or installation alternatives should also be considered and proposed in the writeup, identifying advantages and disadvantages, along with how those options result in changes to the cost and/or life cycle estimates. Phase 400 50% and 90% meetings shall be conducted to review this information to form the basis for Phase 500 design. • Evaluation for upgrade or replacement of all existing water supply system components, for upgrade of toilet building use features, and upgrade or replacement of existing wastewater system components. • Wastewater lagoon sludge testing and quantification.
