Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) The Contractor shall provide miscellaneous fire apparatus repairs for the City on an as needed basis. b) The contractor must provide pick up and delivery of the equipment from the City for repairs at no additional charge. c) The Fire Department may elect to deliver the equipment to the contractor for repairs. d) The contractor must give priority service to Fire Veh ic le Repairs and inspections. e) The contractor must be available to perform emergency repairs after normal business hours and on holidays. f) The contractor must be available and provide a contact person to assist the Fire Department with emergency vehicle issues/problems over the phone. g) Contractor shall be required to maintain a sufficient quantity of common replacement and repair parts necessary for service. The services shall be provided without interruption due to a lack of parts or other supplies. Consistent, documented delays, due to lack of on-hand parts shall be grounds to terminate this contract.
