Specifications include, but are not limited to: One 60-minute individual session per week with a therapist. Three group therapy process groups per week. Each group session must last at least 90 minutes. Five group therapy skill building groups each week. Each group must last at least 90 minutes and will work on issues of self-image, growth, and other elements. Twenty hours of staff led or supervised therapeutic activity per week to promote offender engagement. Additionally, morning and evening meetings, conflict resolution groups, self-help groups, step studies, and recreational and other activities must be utilized. The program must also have integrated case management, and aftercare and discharge planning. The program must have a weekly group session lasting at least 90 minutes for Reunification and Parenting Skills approved by the MDOC. The chosen vendor must have, at a minimum, 35 bed residential unit. The residential unit must be specific to females, and either be in a different building or separate floor from male offenders.
