All body componentry shall be designed to withstand the payload capacity and the application of use. All elements shall resist deformation such as bowing, bending and twisting. Vertical, horizontal supports and bracing shall be of sufficient strength and design to provide continuous reinforcement for the intended loading under the dynamic conditions of loading and compacting an open top trailer with the use of front-end loader or material handler. b. Closer as required to prevent distortion of posts and sheeting between posts. 2. Size and Thickness - a. 6”x3” minimum, 10-gauge minimum thickness b. Rearmost side posts: Designed for proposed loading. 4”x3”x1/4” minimum. v. Sidewall Box Bracing: 1. One horizontal row of box bracing mid-height full length of trailer on sidewalls (min). 2. Box bracing to be sized to brace against the proposed loading and prevent sidewall distortion. vi. Chassis Frame: W10x17 (min) I-beam from landing gear to the rear of the trailer. vii. Floor support cross members to utilize 4” JR. I-Beams at 12” on center (min).
