LBWL will have newer applications that will be stood up in the new environment that are aligned with our Major Utility of the Future endeavor; the BSMART Projects, as well as an ESB. In addition, that data mappings from the old to the new are critical and need individual attention and expertise. Tasks associated with this initiative, but not limited to are defined below: • Discovering which services are listening on what ports, all open ports on each machine • Discovering application configuration files (Oracle / SQL /SAP etc.) to determine which database instances are running where and to verify configuration integrity during and post migration process. • Map services and remote connections on Windows, Linux, UNIX machines. ADM also identifies the following: • Find out all the open ports on a machine, and know what services are listening on what ports • Visualize all the dependencies (local, service, and remote) for a machine instance, both graphically or in a list format.
