Except for those items (if any) specifically noted to be excluded as defined below, the work of this bid category shall include all of the work and contract requirements according to Divisions 00 and 01 complete, including all bid requirements, Contract Documents; General and Supplemental Conditions, and General Requirements. Should any conflict exist between this written scope of work and the scope of work inferred by the Division 01 General Requirements, the work required by this bid category description shall govern. All specifications as required to provide fully functional and operable filtered bottle filling units as shown or specified. Filtered bottle filling stations must meet all the following: 1. Connect to the building’s cold water and drainage systems. 2. Are certified to NSF/ANSI 53 for lead reduction and NSF/ANSI 42 for Class I particulate reduction. 3. Have a light or other device to indicate filter cartridge replacement status. 4. Are designed to fill water bottles or other containers for personal water consumption. 5. Include a bubbler fixture that allows a user to drink directly from a stream of flowing water without the use of any accessory. 6. Pair the flow rate through the filter to the specified flow rate of the filter cartridge 7. Fit the intended installation location. Filters must meet all the following: 1. Are certified to NSF/ANSI 53 for lead reduction and ANSI/NSF 42 for Class I for particulate reduction. 2. Meet size specifications for filtered bottle filling stations.
