Environment & the Public Realm: 1) the formulation of conceptual designsfor KellyPlaza (12400 KellyRd) 2) conceptual designsfor a neighborhood park 3) designsformultimodal connectivityfrom the planning area to existing and proposed citygreenwaytrails,parks,and to the DetroitRiverfront;and 4) designs forimproved connectionsbetween neighborhood parksand communityassets,with a focus on schools and institutional anchors 5) recommendationsfor flood and air quality mitigation 4. Streetscapes & Mobility: 1) the evaluation and identification of commercial corridorssuitable for redevelopment into a walkable retail node (approx.0.5 miles);2) the conceptual redesign ofthe streetscape to support that node,creating neighborhood main streetsthat boost retail activityand accommodates multiple modes oftravel;and 3) application of Complete /Green Streets approachesthat increase safety,and promote ecologicallysustainable design,stormwater management in the public right-of-way,while accommodating multimodal transportation.
