The Contractor will provide services at the locations in 11 counties of MDOT’s Bay Region. described herein and/or directed by the MDOT PM. The Contractor will provide clean out of specified drainage structures and catch basins (hereafter referred to as drains/basins) in accordance with requirements stated herein in accordance with requirements of this Contract. The Contractor will also furnish supervision and all labor, equipment, transportation, disposal of drain/basin debris in accordance with all Federal and State statutes and incidentals necessary to satisfactorily perform the services at the frequencies and during the times as specified herein. The services will include all functions normally considered a part of the workmanlike, satisfactory public service (the “Contract Activities”). Drainage structures include catch basins, manholes, leaching basins, inlets, and drop inlets, including, concrete footing, or precast sump and used for access to new or existing drain systems with a diameter no greater than 48 inches. An estimated number of drains/basins located within a route and are to be cleaned is provided on the Description of Work tab of the Schedule B – Pricing Catch Basin Cleaning Location Specification Sheet (LSS) Bay Region attached to this Contract. The Contractor shall notify the MDOT Program Manager when this number of catch basins is reached for a given route. The Contractor must update the existing structure inventory and record any new drain/basin locations not listed on the approved inventory sheets. The Contractor will be provided a detailed list of drains/basins and locations before commencing work
