PROJECT DESCRIPTION/SERVICES REQUESTED: There are two portions of the project: a modification to the interior of the existing visitor’s center at Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery, and a new exterior pavilion. Design proposals should include both portions extending from schematic design, construction/bid documentation, and construction administration. Interior Renovation: The existing visitor center will have an approximately 1,000 sf area renovated to accommodate 1 full-time staff member and 4-6 seasonal staff member’s workspace (furniture will be by Haworth). This will involve interior partitions, finishes, and any necessary modification of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment. The area involved also includes elevated walkways that will need to be modified / removed as part of this project. Pavilion: Design is needed for a new covered pavilion to accommodate approximately 75 people. The goal is to be able to use this pavilion for 3 seasons of the year for visiting school groups – if possible, this will include a fireplace. The facility has a location in mind for the new pavilion, and this will be addressed in the preproposal walkthrough
