A. The Ottawa County Road Commission is seeking bids for qualified operators on an as needed/hourly basis to operate the following OCRC-owned equipment during winter maintenance within Ottawa County during the 2025-26 winter season: i) Winter Maintenance Trucks (42,000# to 64,000# GVWR) with a multi-directional under body plow, front plow, wing plow and rear mounted computerized ground speed controlled sander/spreader. ii) Articulated Front End Loader with a three (3) cubic yard bucket. iii) Value of equipment under control of the contractor: Truck/Snow Plow unit - $200,000; Front End Loader - $140,000 B. Contractors are encouraged to investigate and become familiar with conditions and type of work being performed according to the contract and specifications. Failure on the part of the Contractor to research and comply with work requirements will not be grounds for additional compensation under the contract.
