Branch ISD Welding Lab HVAC Upgrades Project All systems shall be installed complete and fully functional. Scope listed below is a general description and is not limited to the following. Demolition – Remove existing welding lab exhaust ductwork as indicated. Remove existing roof mounted exhaust fans. Remove existing heating and ventilating unit serving the welding lab and associated ductwork. All equipment abandon by new work shall be removed. Welding Exhaust Systems – Provide new system spark guards, welding fume extractor, extractor, exhaust fan, welding exhaust hoods, welding booth vertical exhaust hoods and ductwork. Compressed Air Piping –. Extend compressed air to new welding fume extractor. HVAC piping and Heating Systems- Provide new heating hot water piping systems and pipe insulation, to fan coil unit and air handling unit. Temperature Controls Systems- Provide air flow measuring devices and programming modifications to new air handling unit serving welding lab. Provide control and monitoring to new welding lab exhaust systems. Note this scope of work shall be furnished and installed by Johnson Controls Inc. Metasys. Test and Balancing- Provide air and water balancing of all new scope of work. Electrical Systems- Provide electrical power for new welding exhaust systems, new air handling unit, new fan coil unit, relocated existing welding lab and machine shop electrical duct banks.
