Kent County Parks is soliciting bids to construct a 40’ x 80’ maintenance building as per plans and specifications in Exhibit A at Wahlfield Park. Respondent is to provide all materials to complete the project. Electrical is design/build. Electrical shall meet minimum codes for outlets, provide an exterior plug for temporary generator to operate basic heat/electric at the building and keep water well operational in the event of a power outage. Electrical shall also include a welding plug located between the two overhead doors, but next to the door furthest from the mechanical room. This building serves as a hub for water, sanitary, and data services. These services are all part of separate contracts but must be coordinated at the building for connections. Current site work may be complete prior to construction of this building. Bidder will include as part of their response to cut asphalt parking area 4’ back from face of building and to include a 4’ wide apron of concrete along entire width of building adjacent to the parking area (overhead door side of building).
