This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit both Self-funded and Fully-insured proposals for administration of post-employment vision benefit coverage for members, including Retirees, beneficiaries, COBRA participants, and Dependents, of the Michigan Public School Employees’ Retirement System (MPSERS), administered by the Michigan Office of Retirement Services (ORS). The current plan is Self-funded. The resulting contract from this solicitation process will replace existing Contract 071B7700186. No payment will be made to the Contractor during the Implementation Period. The Implementation Period means the period of time between the Contract Begin or Effective Date anticipated May 8, 2025, and when Services are commenced on January 1, 2026. Contractor must commence performance of all Services to all Members, without interruption, on January 1, 2026. Requirements Contractor must provide all Contract Activities/Services and staff, and must do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of the work set forth below.
