The video surveillance system (VSS) implementation will consist of: • Providing and installing interior and exterior IP cameras, with proper mounts and structural supports, to be connected to and powered by PoE/PoE+ from the District’s network switches. • Installing and testing unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Cat6 cable drops for new camera locations as specified in the counts provided in Appendix A and the locations indicated in Appendix B. • Providing and installing all appropriate Cat6 patch panels and patch cords to connect newly cabled cameras to the District’s network switches. • Testing each newly installed camera to verify proper operation and viewing angle • Adjusting camera naming and viewing angles as instructed by the administration of each building. • Installation and integration services, warranty, and training as required in this RFP. The door access control (DAC) implementation will consist of: • Providing and installing new interior and exterior DAC components (including card readers, keypad readers, video intercom door stations, intercom master consoles, door release buttons, panic buttons). • Providing and installing all appropriate cabling to connect newly installed DAC components to control panels or network switches. • Integrating newly provided DAC components to District-provided elements (including electrified door hardware, handicap operators, maglocks, door contacts, request to exit devices)...
