TELECOMMUNCATIONS 1. Internet Access Service The District is accepting Bids for district-wide Internet access service for fourteen (14) school buildings and three (3) non-instructional buildings. The Bid shall include Internet Access service for a 5Gbps connection with expansion up to 10Gbps, as needed. The Bid must also include a pricing table with 5Gbps to 10Gbps pricing with a provision for increasing speeds up to 5Gbps during the terms of any subsequent agreement with the Bidder. The Bid must also include a description of how the Internet Access service is protected against Distributed Denial of Services (DDoS). The service will be located at 1024 N. 136th Avenue, Holland, MI 49424. This service is for the time period from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. Any and all USF E-rate “ineligible” products and/or services must be listed separately in the Bid. Multi-year agreements are acceptable. 2. Wireless Internet Access Service for Buses (5G) including Equipment The District is accepting Bids for wireless 5G internet access service for fifty-eight (58) buses including hotspot hardware including installation of the hotspots on the buses. The district will consider any technology neutral proposal that provides 5G connectivity. This service is for the time period from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Any and all USF E-rate “ineligible” products and/or services must be listed separately in the Bid.
