Specifications include, but are not limited to: two (2) 72 passenger School Buses in accordance with the attached specifications and the following instructions. 1. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “New Bus Purchase 2022” 2. Sealed bids must be in the office of the Transportation Department no later than 10:00 a.m., Friday February 18, 2022. 3. All deviations from the specifications must be highlighted in the bid. 4. Include all freight and shipping. 5. Include one winter front for each unit. 6. The school bus bid shall comply with all National Recommended Minimum Standards and all current regulations of the Department of Education of the State of Michigan relating to school bus rules, standards and specifications. In addition, the Transportation Department is requiring the following specifications or equivalent. 7. The completed units are to be inspected by the Michigan State Police, School Bus Inspector, prior to delivery. 8. Enclose all standard warranties for the bus body and all chassis components. 9. The Gaylord Community Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive irregularities in bids submitted.
