Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Michigan State Housing Development Authority, Community Development Division (MSHDA or "Authority") is seeking a high-capacity firm or non-profit organization to provide the Authority with full-service conference/event planning over a three-year period. Services sought include planning, organizing, marketing, coordinating communications, and managing the overall logistics for the Building Michigan Communities Conferences (BMCC). One of the largest of its kind in the country, the BMCC regularly includes over 100 sessions provided to more than 1,600 attendees annually, including representatives from state and local units of government, non-profit housing development agencies, for-profit housing developers, homelessness organizations, urban planners, social workers and other community development professionals. The conference/event planning service provider selected for this three-year contract will manage overall conference planning, organization and implementation, including but not limited to administering participant registration, financial management, database management, conference evaluations, meeting planning, exhibits, speaker/presenter management, graphic design, continuing education credits, sponsorship support, and media/public relations.
