The School District of the City of Pontiac is a general powers public school district located in central Oakland County, Michigan serving approximately 4,500 K-12 students. The district is governed by an elected seven-member Board of Education. Currently the district is operating under a consent agreement with the State of Michigan Treasurer to restore financial stability and ensure provision of essential and effective educational services.
