As part of the Terminal Enhancement Project, there are two Long Bag Devices (LBDs) located within the terminal. The selected artwork will be installed above and around each LBD, serving both as a visually impactful artwork and as a point of wayfinding for travelers. The installation site offers opportunities for both two-dimensional and three-dimensional work. The space includes a shallow bulkhead (6 inches) and a vertical face extending up to the suspended ceiling. Artists are encouraged to consider sculptural elements that extend into the space while harmonizing with the architectural features. In addition to the bulkhead and wall surfaces, artists may propose adding a vinyl application or glass etching to the protective barriers located around the mouth of each LBD.
