Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians (LTBB)through its Food Distribution on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) is seeking bids from a qualified supplier for purchase and delivery of Fresh Frozen Walleye Filles. The goal is to incorporate traditional, tribally harvested foods into the FDPIR food package as part of the USDA Demonstration Project. This procurement supports our ongoing commitment to Tribal food sovereignty and culturally relevant nutrition. As part of our FDPIR Demonstration Project, LTBB is authorized to procure traditional foods through tribal-to-tribal commerce. We have previously partnered and are seeking continued or new supplier relationships. A. Product Specifications: • Product: WALLEYE FILLETS FRZ PKG-40/1 LB • Packaging: – Individually glazed or vacuum packaged fillets shall be packed in a 1-pound primary package. • Target Quantity: 300lbs/month for 10 months. • Storage/Delivery Condition: Must remain frozen throughout delivery and storage. • Certification: Must meet all USDA, FDA, and Tribal food safety standards B. Delivery: • Location: o LTBB Food Distribution Center, 829 Charlevoix Ave., Petoskey, MI 49770. • Frequency: o Monthly or quarterly depending on Shipping costs. C.
