Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● Provide in person academic intervention (Tier II and III)- during the school day ● Interventions must be data documented (pre and post-assessments with individualized reports for each student) o During the day refers to just that, during the school day ● In-class support, both with the students and teacher, to ensure a high-quality educational experience for the identified students ● SEL supportive coordination as needed with the students assigned – participation in the building PBIS initiatives along with helping to ensure they continue o SEL initiatives will include the vendor selected and ensure all personnel involved in the buildings are striving to embed themselves into a strong community to support of our students and families with their unique needs ● Support and possibly offer of academic opportunities for students to participate outside of normal core classes; possible examples: o Spelling Bee o Academic competitions o Robotics o Performing arts o Soap box derby ● Staff that have a strong knowledge of curricular components at each grade level and can support where placed; being able to provide lessons for whole groups along with small group instruction and have successfully worked within an underserved population ● Build healthy positive relationships with staff and students, understanding our student makeup and how to reach them ● Enough qualified staff to be able to provide the support needed ● Supply documented time and effort logs for supportive services that document students and learning targets ● Present and provide end-of-semester reports that reflect: o Documented data on the number of students supported o Academic growth (documented from assessments) o Goals o Areas of success along with challenges met; We are seeking price quotes to support our students and staff in these targeted areas: 1. Student academic intervention during the school day a. Our school day runs approximately 6.7 hours in length b. Students should be supported with a push-in model or pull-out for small-group targeted support. Small group rations should average 5-10 students to one adult.
