Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Service Provider shall provide for all supervision, labor, permitting, and equipment necessary to complete Snow and Ice Removal tasks. The District will provide salt. Plowing will be triggered when two (2) inches of snow accumulates and repeated if necessary in the case of further accumulation. Salting is to follow each plowing to ensure dry and slip-free conditions. Salting will also commence at any time there are freezing conditions: freezing rain, sleet, or freezing melt-off. Snow and ice must be cleared away from all lots, driveways, sidewalks, loading docks, crosswalks, handicap ramps, staircases, entrances, exits, fire exits, fire hydrants, and up the doors of the building. Snow will be piled so that it does not impede foot traffic along sidewalks, to trash receptacles, entryways, etc. Snow piles will be moved as needed for safety on approval of building staff.
