Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The bidder shall be able to substantiate a record of good performance and service and provide references from similar size accounts. 2. The bidder shall furnish all labor and equipment for clearing snow and ice from areas as specified on the attached bid sheets during the months of October (if necessary), November, December, January, February, March and April (if necessary). 3. The bidder shall be responsible for commencing snow/ice removal operations whenever one (1) inch or more of snow accumulation occurs during the night preceding a regular school day or since the last plowing/salting effort. Every effort should be made to complete snow plowing/ice removal and salting operations by the time specified for each school location. (Refer to scope of work listed for each school location on bid proposal documents.) 4. If the snowfall is late, initial snow removal efforts should be directed to primary areas so as to clear these areas by 6:30 am of the school day. Primary areas are entrance and exit drives and parking lots close to the buildings.
