Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1Snow Plowing is defined as moving accumulated snow from parking lots and drives to adjacent areas or designated on-site locations without transporting snow from the immediate vicinity of the lot or drive regardless of the actual equipment used. 2.1.2For the days noted on the maps (every day or weekdays only) all identified drives, parking lots and other areas must be cleared whenever snow accumulates to a depth exceeding two (2”) inches.2.1.3For areas designated for weekday plowing only, Contractor may plow on other days if necessary to reduce snow accumulations that would prevent efficient plowing on the night before the next regular business day. 2.1.4Several maps identify infrequently used areas that are to be plowed upon request. Contractor is expected to plow these areas within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving the request. A quicker response time may be requested and is expected if plowing of an area is needed to allow the County to address a public safety issue such as equipment repair at a dispatch tower. 2.1.5All areas to be plowed must be clear and ready for use by 7:00 a.m.
