Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All snow plowing shall be automatic at 1”snow depth. Plowing services include all parking lots, entrances, driveways and service drives. 2. Lots must be plowed and snow removed by 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday when overnight snow has accumulated. There are no exceptions. The Anchor Bay School District snow removal must be a priority to the awarded contractor. Lot schedules and priority areas will be mutually agreed upon between the Anchor Bay School District Maintenance Supervisor and awarded contractor(s). 3. The Anchor Bay School District buildings are closed on Saturday and Sunday and therefore only services will be rendered and/or paid for by agreement from the Anchor Bay School District, Maintenance Supervisor or a call from the Anchor Bay School District Maintenance Department. Non-approved work will not be paid for. 4. The North entrance and North parking lot of the High School must be cleared on Saturday and Sunday. 5. Depth of snow forecast shall be based upon amounts determined by the national Weather Service and should be invoiced accordingly. 6. Stacking of excess now will be permitted only in areas specified by the Anchor Bay School District Maintenance Supervisor. 7. Snow should be stacked in areas away from storm drains. 8. All entrances, exits and gated areas will remain free of plowed snow for security and safety reasons. The contactor is responsible for corrective actions at no cost to the Anchor Bay School District. 9. Particular attention should be made to keep handicapped access/parking and pathways clear and free from snow. 10. The contractor shall provide the Anchor Bay School District with a means of immediate communication regarding site completion, emergencies, or any other occasion that may arise. A mobile phone number of the person(s) responsible for managing this contract must be provided.
