Specifications include, but are not limited to: Kalkaska County is seeking bids/quotes for snow removal at the following properties: Parking area and sidewalks: • 605 N Birch Street (Front and Back Parking Lot and Parking Area to the East of Sheriff Building); • 890 Island Lake Road (Annex Building; North and East parking areas); • 1900 Fairground Road (Kaliseum Recreation Complex) • 605 N Birch Street (Back Parking lot to include Animal Control Loop); • 503 N Birch Street (Department Human of Services Building); • 509 N Birch Street (Health Department and Community Mental Health Building); • 801/803 Fairgrounds Road and connecting road of Courthouse Drive and Fairgrounds Road The Contractor shall make a daily check of all parking lots, sidewalks and roads. After a minimum of four (4) inches of snowfall, all parking lots and roads are to be plowed by 8:00 AM, sanded and slated when necessary. After a minimum of one (1) inch of snowfall, all sidewalks shall be shoveled and salted by 8:00 AM. This bid may be submitted as a cost per hour, by event/weather or a monthly or seasonal quote.
