Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The per cubic yard bid price submitted shall be quoted delivered to any job site in the City of Wyoming as well as the City of Wyoming Drinking Water Plant located at 16700 New Holland, Holland, Michigan in minimum truckload quantities. B. The per cubic yard bid price submitted shall be quoted delivered to any job site in the City of Kentwood in minimum truckload quantities. C. Bid will be awarded for the City of Wyoming and contract purchase order will be issued to the successful bidder within approximately 60 days of bid opening date. Orders will be placed against the contract purchase order on an as needed basis. D. Bid will be awarded for the City of Kentwood and contract purchase order will be issued to the successful bidder within approximately 60 days of bid opening date. Orders will be placed against the contract purchase order on an as needed basis. E. As the cities of Wyoming and Kentwood anticipate purchasing the shredded bark throughout the spring and summer months, all bid prices submitted are to be firm for orders placed within one year from date of award of bid. F. The shredded bark being bid will be used for landscaping purposes. It shall be disease free top grade freshly milled winter hardwood bark, having no large chunks or sawdust in it. G. The pricing sheet includes areas for pricing for hardwood bark and ADA approved playground wood chips. The ADA approved playground wood chips will be utilized mainly in playground areas at the City’s Parks and must meet ASTM standard F1951. Bidder must submit a document with their bid proposal stating the ADA approved playground wood chips passed the ASTM standard F1951. H. Proponent shall provide with their submitted bid/proposal three (3) samples of each type of shredded bark and wood chips bid. All samples must be clearly marked with the bidders name and type of bark or wood chips.
